Check Out Lid Lok Baby Toilet Lock from Mommy's Helper

Lid Lok Baby Toilet Lock from Mommy's Helper Review

I got this lock when my daughter flushed a shampoo cap and we had to buy a new toilet!! This lock did work at keeping her out (she was about 1 1/2 at the time) but it was loose fitting even though i installed it just as instructed. She would slide it from side to side.

I think your better off just keeping the door shut when you are not with the child... We ended up removing it after about two weeks of being annoyed by it sliding and twisting arnd.

My 19-month-old can work this - KatyDid5429 - Philadelphia, PA
I guess I made the mistake of un-doing the lid lock once when she could see - but now my 19-month old daughter can work this device. It has actually become somewhat of a toy for her - as soon as she realized I didn't want her to play with it, it's become a must-do.

Skip is and go for the one with the buttons on the side.

Easy to install, easy to use - W. Lai - San Francisco, CA United States
This product is great! It's super easy to install, and each time you need to unlock it, it only requires one hand. I didn't give it a five star because part of the mechanism sits under the toilet seat inside the bowl, that kinda grosses me out. But I suppose there is no other way to do it.

flimsy material - -
This toilet lock comes open very easily if the seat is rattled. It keeps my daughter out long enough for me to grab her, but if left alone in the room, I think she would be able to get it open and throw things into the toilet. I would try other brands.

Mommy's Helper Safer Grip Foot Rest Review

My girlfriend has been complaining about not having a place to put her foot while shaving since we moved into out new home. I was looking for a nice bench, but they were all either too expensive, looked bad or were the wrong size and shape.

My girlfriend has been using it for week with no complaints. I'm not sure why people can't get it to stick. Either they don't know how to work the lever or theirs are devective. This thing feels like it will pull the tile off before it lets go.

Does as it is described - T. Anderson - michigan
After a month of use the foot rest is still holding fine. The wife is very happy.

Totally works! - AmberB - San Luis Obispo, CA
Very useful! Strong suction to tile shower, and the foot pad is very wide - big enough for the ball of your foot. I recommend.

Better than expected - Laura L. Klinkner - Fargo, ND
This sticks to the wall of my tile shower better than any suction cup device ever has, it hasn't come off in the 3 weeks I've been using it. Great for shaving, not built to carry weight.

One of my better purchases - Zon - Chicagoland, IL
I would purchase this product again if needed. It only slipped once for me in almost a year's time of daily use. Very easy to install and remove -- like the GPS holder on my windshield. I recommend that you remove it to clean it otherwise mildew can grow in between the molded plastic and the rubber suction cup. It has a little bit of flex in it which makes it comfortable to use. The instructions warn about placing any weight on it, but I find that it can tolerate a lot of my weight.
