Baby Can Read With the Easy Reading From Birth Program

Many educational researchers believe that babies can read from birth. But what does this actually mean in reality? A baby cannot possibly read from birth as a baby doesn't understand written words yet and has no vocabulary until an adult teaches baby that words have meanings. What is meant by baby can read from birth is that baby can begin to learn all the fundamental but vitally important pre-reading skills. Without learning these skills baby won't be able to read well in the future. Researchers now think that failure to learn these early pre-reading skills could be a cause of dyslexia.

Many people don't realise that if these skills are not learned early enough then it is too late to learn them later when the window of opportunity has passed. The critical time for learning pre-reading skills is in the first three years of life. So don't make the mistake of thinking that a baby can't do or learn anything. A baby's brain is perfectly wired for learning language even before birth. A baby's senses are ready to be stimulated and in fact crave stimulation.

Make sure you surround your baby with sights, sounds, textures and experiences which you can talk about and describe to your baby from day one. Show your baby books, posters, the outdoors, things in the house and talk about them as you would to a friend. Baby loves the sound of the human voice and in particular it's mother's voice. Hearing the speech sounds and patterns will stimulate your baby's listening skills and familiarize baby with the language of his native tongue.

Your baby loves bold black and white patterns from day one and showing your baby these will begin to teach the visual skills needed to read well later. The same with faces. Cut human faces from magazines and watch your baby gaze at them.

Reading involves seeing the differences between letters and words and hearing the differences in sounds. The more you stimulate your baby's senses and brain the easier it will be for baby to learn to read. So don't waste a second and start right from birth.
